Lithuania and Myanmar have established diplomatic relations

On 8 October 2013, in New York, H.E. Ms. Raimonda Murmokaitė, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Lithuania to the United Nations, and H.E. Mr. Kyaw Tin, Permanent Representative of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the United Nations, signed the Joint Communiqué on the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the Republic of Lithuania and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
The Republic of the Union of Myanmar is the 172nd state with which Lithuania has established the diplomatic relations.
