Lithuania and Palau establish diplomatic relations

On 25 September 2013, in New York, H.E. Mr. Tommy Remengesau Jr, President of the Republic of Palau, and H.E. Mr.Linas Linkevičius, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, signed the Joint Communiqué on the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Palau and Lithuania.

Palau is the 166th state with which Lithuania has established the diplomatic relations.
