Lithuania and the Union of the Comoros established diplomatic relations

On 26 September 2013, in New York, Mr. El-Anrif Said Hassane, Minister of External Relations, Co-operation in charge of the Diaspora, Francaphonie, and the Arab World of the Union of the Comoros, and H.E. Mr.Linas Linkevičius, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, signed the Joint Communiqué on the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the Union of the Comoros and Lithuania.
The Union of the Comoros is the 167th state with which Lithuania has established the diplomatic relations.
