Lithuania and Timor Leste establish diplomatic relations

On 27 September 2013, in New York, Mr. Jose Luis Guterres, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, and Mr.Linas Linkevičius, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, signed the Joint Communiqué on the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste and Lithuania.

Timor Leste is the 170th state with which Lithuania has established the diplomatic relations.
