LITHUANIA CONTRIBUTES TO MINE AND ORDNANCE DESTRUCTION IN AFGHANISTAN

Lithuania decided to contribute 6 thousand USD to support Mine and Unexploded Ordnance Clearance Project in Afghanistan by the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS). The contribution reflects a continuation of our consistent efforts to support international mine action. Since 2006, Lithuania provided approximately 50 thousand USD to UNMAS demining efforts in Afghanistan.
