Lithuania contributes to UN demining efforts in Afghanistan

Reafirming its longstanding support and active engagement in international humanitarian mine action, Lithuania decided to contribute to the United Nations Mine Action Service Voluntary Trust Fund for Assistance in Mine Action in Afghanistan.

Lithuania has already provided financial contributions to this project in 2006, 2007 and 2009.
