Lithuania establishes diplomatic relations with the Republic of Niger
On 30 May, in New York, H.E. Ms. Raimonda Murmokaitė, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Lithuania to the United Nations, and H.E. Mr. Boubacar Boureima, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Niger to the United Nations, signed the Joint Communiqué on the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the Republic of Lithuania and the Republic of Niger.
The establishment of diplomatic relations will contribute to the strengthening and promotion of bilateral relations between Lithuania and Niger.
The Republic of Niger is the 179th state with which Lithuania has established the diplomatic relations.
