Lithuania establishes diplomatic relations with the Republic of Sierra Leone

On 15 April, in New York, H.E. Ms. Raimonda Murmokaitė, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Lithuania to the United Nations, and H.E. Mr. Vandi Chidi Minah, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Sierra Leone to the United Nations, signed the Joint Communiqué on the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the Republic of Lithuania and the Republic of Sierra Leone.

The establishment of diplomatic relations will contribute to the promotion of bilateral relations.

The Republic of Sierra Leone is the 177th state with which Lithuania has established the diplomatic relations.
