LITHUANIA JOINS THE CELEBRATION OF THE MONTH OF LA FRANCOPHONIE

On the occasion of the Month of la Francophonie 2013, Permanent Mission of Lithuania in collaboration with Permanent Representation of International Organization of la Francophonie in New York held an exhibition "Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir in the dunes of the Curonian Spit". The pictures of the French intellectual couple were taken in the summer of 1965 by now famous Lithuanian photographer Antanas Sutkus.The exhibition is open from 18 to 22 March in the "Kuwait boat" area at the Delegates' Lobby of the UN General Assembly building.
