LITHUANIAN OFFICERS AWARDED UN MEDALS IN CYPRUS

On 28th November 2013, officers of the United Nation Peace Keeping Mission in Cyprus (UNFICYP) were awarded UN medals for service under the blue flag. Among them, were two Lithuanian officers from the Public Security Service (PSS) under the Ministry of Interior, who joined UNFICYP in May 2013.

The PSS currently has officers deployed to Cyprus, Kosovo, Liberia and Haiti.
