SECURITY COUNCIL UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED RESOLUTION ON SYRIA

Saturday, 22 February, the United Nations Security Council unanimously adopted resolution 2139 on the humanitarian issues in Syria. The resolution has been co-sponsored by 8 Council members: Australia, France, Jordan, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America.
