UN SECURITY COUNCIL TO HOLD A MEETING ON UKRAINE

Today at 3 PM the United Nations (UN) Security Council will hold a private meeting in connection with the “Letter dated 28 February 2014 from the Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations addressed to the President of the Security Council”, immediately followed by consultations on the same subject. Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN is expected to participate in the private meeting. The UN Security Council is expected to be briefed by Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs Oscar Fernandez-Taranco.
